Training sessions are free, with a local perspective and stories based on our work with survivors of sex trafficking. Led by an expert facilitator, attendees will develop the tools they need to keep their workplace safe for both employees and clients.
Who is it for?
Our free training is for the hospitality and transportation industries and any organization that comes in contact with victims of sex trafficking.
We offer a general training session suitable for all levels, from front line staff to senior management. Based on requests from management, we have also added a session where we discuss the business advantages of training staff.
Join organizations like The Grand, InterContinental Toronto Centre, Bond Hotel, Hotel X, The Hazelton Hotel and Hospitality Workers Training Centre that have partnered with us to fight sex trafficking.
What will you learn?
Through hearing the stories of sex trafficking survivors, employees will gain insight into how easily sex trafficking can happen.
We also work through possible scenarios as a group and cover these topics:
- The local scene
- Victim and trafficker profiles
- Warning signs
- Appropriate responses
When and where?
Sessions are typically an hour but can be customized to suit your needs and complement existing training initiatives. We also provide refresher courses or sessions for new hires.
