Become a Mentor

"As I have been fortunate to have mentors in my life who guided me when I needed help, I owe it to life to do the same for another human being. I see a mentor as a sounding board, a confidante and a positive adult relationship. The opportunity to become that itself is such a rewarding experience for me." - Nisha Balachandran

We welcome community members to act as positive adult role models and provide guidance to youth when it comes to school, careers and life. Find out if this is the role for you!

If you have the expertise and time to connect with youth, we invite you to apply to be a mentor.

This is the chance to be the mentor you've always wanted or the one you were lucky enough to have.

Mentors are asked to commit one year to the program to ensure consistency and stability.

When matched with a youth, you'll meet twice a month at a time and place that works for you both.

How to apply

We carefully screen every applicant and pair successful candidates with youth based on compatibility and need. If you’re interested in becoming a mentor, please fill out our mentorship application form.
