Donor Recognition

Individuals and organizations will be recognized in the following categories based on their giving level:

• Visionaries - $250,000+
• Champions - $100,000 - $249,999
• Humanitarians - $50,000 - $99,999
• Patrons  - $20,000 - $49,999
• Sustainers - $10,000 - $19,999
• Advocates -  $5,000 - $9,999
• Partner -  $3,000 - $4,999
• Friends -  $1,000 - $2,999

Gifts of $1,000 or more will be recognized in our annual report, and gifts of $5,000 or more will also be recognized in Covenant House’s Annual Donor Wall.

Individuals and organizations that reach an accumulated giving level of $500,000+ will be honoured annually in our annual report.

This society is comprised of individuals who tell us they have included Covenant House in their will, or designated a life insurance policy or an annuity to benefit Covenant House when they are deceased.

A white dove with the donor’s name will be placed on the White Dove Society Donor Wall until the gift is realized, at which point the white dove will be retired.

Each White Dove member will be given a certificate signed by the Executive Director and the Board Chair upon notifying Covenant House of their intentions.

Monthly giving donors are special to our agency as they allow us to plan for our youth over the long-term.  All of our monthly donors receive a certificate, a thank you from our youth and two annual newsletters when they sign up as a monthly donor.

There are opportunities within Covenant House’s recognition structure for individuals and corporations to have naming rights to programs, services and events.

The specifics related to these naming opportunities will be outlined in an agreement between the donor and Covenant House.

We are extremely fortunate to have steadfast donors who have supported us over the years. To show our gratitude, we provide certificates of appreciation to our donors annually after they’ve completed their 10, 20 and 30 year anniversaries.

Covenant House will acknowledge all gifts of $10 or more with a thank you letter and an official income tax receipt.

Donors may receive thank you calls and invitations to events to learn more about the work you support.
