Nordstrom Supports Covenant House Toronto in Creating Positive Change

Leading fashion retailer, Nordstrom is demonstrating the powerful impact we can have together by creating positive change in our community and society.

Nordstrom is focused on shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future. Alix Box, Senior Vice President, Regional Manager, Nordstrom Canada explains, “at Nordstrom, we hope that we can work toward a promising future together and to leave the world better than we found it.”

For Nordstrom, “supporting Covenant House aligns directly with our core mission of responding to the highest and greatest basic needs of families and youth in the communities we serve,” says Alix Box.

Nordstrom generously donates 2.5 per cent of net sales from Nordstrom Made brand Treasure & Bond to organizations serving youth experiencing homelessness, including Covenant House Toronto.

Treasure & Bond is just one way Nordstrom is making a difference for youth in the communities it serves. Nordstrom donates millions of dollars annually to organizations that support families and youth and encourages employees to give personally to the causes that matter to them. The company matches employee donations—both through monetary gifts and volunteer hours. Plus, Nordstrom knows their customers want to feel good about products they’re buying, so they've laid out goals for Nordstrom made brands to help shape their goals for the future.

Thank you, Nordstrom, for your generous support, for caring about your community and for inspiring others to create positive change in the world.

“Covenant House Toronto serves thousands of youth per year, providing supportive services, a safe environment, growth opportunities and more. We hope the youth feel our support, and we feel humbled to be a small part of their journey.”
